{"id":12177,"date":"2021-07-22T17:29:43","date_gmt":"2021-07-22T16:29:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ukdepartureboards.co.uk\/store\/?post_type=product&#038;p=12177"},"modified":"2025-12-12T19:11:14","modified_gmt":"2025-12-12T19:11:14","slug":"large-led-usb-audio-upgrade-kit","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/ukdepartureboards.co.uk\/store\/product\/large-led-usb-audio-upgrade-kit\/","title":{"rendered":"Pro departure board USB audio upgrade kit"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This kit can be installed by the customer with a few basic tools (no soldering required) <strong>This will not void the boards warranty provided it is not damaged during this installation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3>Installation<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Unscrew both plastic end caps via the 2 large hex bolts on each end.<\/li>\n<li>Plug the right angle USB cable into the USB socket on the controller board.<\/li>\n<li>Plug the long extension USB cable into the USB right angle cable and feed through the board to the other end.<\/li>\n<li>Pop out the middle pre cut slot on the plastic end cap and screw on the USB socket (you may need to pinch for the screws to line up)<\/li>\n<li>Screw both plastic end caps back on.<\/li>\n<li>Select &#8216;External USB speaker&#8217; on the Device tab.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This kit adds USB audio support to our older next generation large LED boards (fully enclosed frame without a USB socket).
