These USB to Ethernet adapters can be used to connect your Classic Departure Board directly to your router via a ethernet cable. This can be useful if you want to avoid using WIFI or are having trouble connecting your board to your WIFI network. You can also plug them into ethernet range extenders if your board is not close to the router as ethernet range extenders route the data through your houses ring main wiring.
